Manage sent and received invitations in the Network module
Resend or edit sent brand invitations, accept or reject received ones, and filter both lists in your Business Account by brand, status, or relationship type.
The Network module in your Business Account keeps two lists of brand invitations: the ones you've sent and the ones you've received. Keeping them current helps you improve acceptance rates, maintain clean brand relationships, and avoid delays in partnerships.
Invitations are how Network partnerships start. Learn more about the capability in Brand Partner Invitations and Permissions.
Open your invitations
- In your Business Account, go to Manage > Network.
- Select the brand category tab: Retail Brands, Consumer Brands, or Media & Entertainment Brands.
Each tab lists the invitations you sent and the ones you received in one table, with a Status column. Each row's 3-dot menu depends on its status:
- Invite Sent, on an invitation you sent: Resend Invite, Cancel Invite, and View Details.
- Rejected, on an invitation you sent: Edit Brand and View Details.
- Any other row: View Details.
Each invitation shows under the tab it was created from, for both brands: Retail Brands, Consumer Brands, or Media & Entertainment Brands.
Resend an invitation
After each email, Resend Invite stays disabled for 1 day, and a tooltip shows when you can resend. Use it to follow up on brands that haven't responded.
- Click the 3-dot menu on an Invite Sent invitation.
- Click Resend Invite to open the email selection window.
- Add or remove recipients. You can add multiple email addresses.
- Click Send.
Genuin re-triggers the invitation without creating a duplicate.
Edit a rejected invitation
You can edit an invitation you sent after the other brand rejects it. Use this to correct details such as a wrong email address, then send it again.
- Click the 3-dot menu on a Rejected invitation you sent.
- Click Edit Brand.
- Update the details. You can't edit the brand name or the brand handle.
- Send the invitation again by email.
An Updated Invite sent notification confirms it.
Every edit triggers a new invitation, so check the brand data before you send.
Cancel a sent invitation
Cancel an invitation that's still waiting for the other brand.
- Click the 3-dot menu on an Invite Sent invitation.
- Click Cancel Invite.
- Confirm the cancellation.
The invitation is canceled, and its row is removed from the list altogether. Canceled isn't a status.
Respond to a received invitation
- Click the 3-dot menu on an Invite Received invitation, then click View Invite.
- Click Accept or Reject.
Learn what accepting grants in Accept a brand invitation in the Network module.
You can't change content access on a received invitation. You accept or reject it as sent.
Filter and search invitations
Filter either list to find invitations quickly, which helps when you manage a large partner network.
- Brands Destination: Find a specific brand.
- Status: Show Active, Rejected, Invite Sent, or Invite Received relationships. Filter by Invite Sent to track the invitations still waiting for a response.
- Relationship: Show one kind of relationship. Learn about the types in Brand relationship types and access control.
You can also search either list by brand name or handle. Both lists are paginated, and their columns can't be sorted.
Limitations
- Resend is time-restricted: After each email, you can resend an invitation only once 1 day has passed.
- No duplicates: Resending re-triggers the same invitation instead of creating a new one.
- Edit after a rejection: You can edit an invitation's brand details only after it's rejected. On an Active relationship, you can still update content access and add social handles from View Details.
- Name and handle are fixed: Editing an invitation doesn't change the brand name or brand handle.
- Edits resend: Every edit triggers a new invitation.
