Creator Wallet and Revenue Share
Revenue share on creator content, Quest rewards, and tips settle automatically into each creator's wallet attached to your network.
Every creator in your program has a Creator Wallet attached to your network. Their revenue share, Quest rewards, and tips settle there on each payout cycle, and creators withdraw on their own schedule. You see the total you owe them as a liability in your reports.
This capability arrives as a proposal when your network needs it, filled in from your brand context, and goes live when you confirm it. It's part of Monetize, and Revenue reporting, payouts, and the Creator Wallet explains how revenue reaches creators.
When to use it
Use it on any network with creators or Quests. Your creators can include:
- Hosts and talent: people found on your site and in your video credits.
- Employees: people from your directory who post for the brand.
- Superfans: the members who already comment most on your content.
A Quest is a brief with a deadline and a reward that fills a group fast. Entries pass moderation, and rewards settle into Creator Wallets. Quests and Creator Programs covers how Quests run.
How it works
- Each creator has a tier (Host, Contributor, or Member creator) and the groups they may post into.
- The creator share is proposed from your plan and model, so earnings are tracked from the first post.
- You set the share percentage by tier or by group.
- Revenue share, Quest rewards, and tips settle into the wallet automatically on each payout cycle.
- Creators withdraw on their own schedule. Minimums and fees are shown in the wallet.
- Offsite tags can run a creator's content as ad creative, with attribution to the creator for the revenue share.
Set it up
Octo proposes the creator share with these steps already done. You review the result and confirm it.
- Set the creator share under Monetize > Creator share. Learn how in Invite creators, hosts, and contributors.
- Rewards and shares settle on each payout cycle. Learn how payouts run in Revenue reporting, payouts, and the Creator Wallet.
- Creators withdraw on their own schedule, with minimums and fees shown in the wallet.

What it reports
Reports > Creators shows these measures. Activate monetization and see your first revenue explains how creator shares start flowing once monetization is live.
- Earned per creator: what each creator earned from shares, rewards, and tips.
- Liability: the unpaid balance across all wallets.
- Withdrawals: what creators moved out of their wallets.
The per-creator view in Reports also shows each creator's views and watch time next to earned revenue.
Build on it
Creator Wallets run in Brand Control Center and need no code. Serve your first ad covers running your posts as an ad creative on a partner page.
The wallet and payout calls in the Business Account API are proposed, not live. Live API today and the Business Account API roadmap maps what you can call now to what's planned.
