Build creator-led communities with the Genuin Studio App

Invite creators from your Business Account so they can create groups, publish content, and grow audiences across your web and mobile destinations with the Genuin Studio App.

The Genuin Studio App lets creators contribute content, interact with members, manage groups, and grow audiences inside your brand-owned destinations. Everything they do stays within your brand guidelines and moderation policies.

Creators bring recurring content and conversation into the sites and apps you own, so your social experience grows through creator-led engagement and member interactions.

For the product overview, see Studio: what it does and where to start.

Invite creators

Before creators can build anything, give them access in your Business Account.

  1. In your Business Account, go to Build. On Getting Started, open Add Users > Creators.
Step 1: Creators are invited from the first of the three Add Users steps.
  1. Add creators by Email, Phone, Genuin id, or Import List.
  2. Assign each creator a role and permissions.
  3. Add creators to specific communities or groups.
  4. Set their access levels to match your brand's governance requirements.

The Creators step also has a Creator Program Banner toggle. When it's on, your brand's web presence shows a Become a Creator banner. When it's off, the banner is hidden.

Preview Template shows the invitation email before it goes out. You need at least one creator to continue, and a success toast confirms when the invitations are sent.

Once invited, creators sign in to the Genuin Studio App with their assigned credentials.

Note

Invitations go out under the Genuin name until your white-label domain is set up. To send them under your brand, set up the white-label domain first.

Learn more about inviting creators, hosts, and contributors, the creator roles and tiers you can assign, and white-labeling your social experience under your own domain.

To add creators later, click Add Creator under Manage > Users > Creators.

Creators can also ask to join. Their requests arrive in Moderate > User Requests with the type Creator, where you accept or reject each one. To accept them without review, choose Creator in the Auto Accept dropdown.

Set up a creator profile

Creators personalize their profile in the Studio App to establish their presence across your destinations. A profile includes:

  • Profile image.
  • Bio and creator description.
  • Social handles.
  • Content categories and interests.
  • Community focus areas.

Members use profiles to discover creators and follow the content streams that interest them.

Create and manage groups

With the permissions you assign, creators can:

  • Create new groups within existing communities.
  • Manage community discussions.
  • Organize content around specific topics or interests.
  • Moderate conversations and member participation.
  • Invite members into creator-led groups.

Who can create groups in a community depends on its Who can create Groups setting: All community members or Admins.

You add members to communities and groups yourself from the same Add Users menu.

Invitations to community members and group members go out only once those communities and groups exist in Manage. If you add members first, their invitations wait in a queue. You can skip both of these steps.

New members join every listed community as general members.

Creators build niche spaces around topics such as product education, gaming, fitness challenges, creator fan communities, tutorials and learning groups, and brand campaigns or events. You keep governance control while creators drive engagement.

New members are added to all the approved groups listed.

Publish and distribute content

Creators publish directly from the Studio App to your supported destinations. Supported content includes:

  • Short-form vertical videos.
  • Creator challenges.
  • Discussions and community posts.
  • Polls and engagement prompts.
  • Tutorials and educational content.
  • User-generated content campaigns.

Content reaches mobile apps, web experiences, community feeds, embedded experiences, and community groups. AI curation and moderation keep it in line with your brand safety guidelines. Learn more about automating content curation and moderation with AI agents.

Engage with members

Creators take part in conversations and activities through the Studio App. Engagement features include:

These tools help creators keep an ongoing relationship with their audience and raise overall participation.

The in-feed reaction you pick here is the one members tap on videos.

For the reaction and feed options, see Player Controls and Feed Settings.

Grow audiences across destinations

The Studio App lets creators extend their reach across several brand-owned destinations with one consistent identity. Creators can:

  • Build followers across communities.
  • Grow recurring engagement.
  • Participate in sponsored campaigns.
  • Collaborate with brands on challenges and activations.
  • Drive participation across communities.

The result is a creator program inside your social experience that grows without relying only on external social platforms.

A preset picks the placements that show ads and previews where ad slots fall in the feed.

  • Create dedicated creator communities or groups.
  • Launch creator challenges and campaigns.

Partnered Post and Partnered Takeover are both switched on in this preset.
