Marketplace Listing and Discovery

Packages listed for buyers to discover with brand safety acceptance, pricing, and availability built in.

A listing puts one of your packages in Marketplace, where buyers find it, request it, and buy it. Genuin drafts the listing from the package, priced against your floors and brand safety profile. Buyers never need to leave their own BCC.

This capability arrives as a proposal when your network needs it, filled in from your brand context, and goes live when you confirm it. It's part of Marketplace, and Marketplace: list packages and transact with demand partners explains how listings are bought, delivered, and billed.

When to use it

Use it when you want inbound demand without a sales team. Buyers come to the listing, and you approve the requests you want.

How it works

  • You list a package built in Package Builder. Its inventory comes from the package.
  • Each listing carries an outcome block: projected views, engagement, attributed commerce, and net margin on ad spend where you have the data. Packages with an outcome block rank higher for buyers.
  • Buyers accept your brand safety profile before they buy. The same profile travels with your listings, AdCP product objects, and ad server line items.
  • Each listing shows the network capabilities behind it, such as Extended O&O syndication. Capability SKUs lists them.
  • When you add programmatic demand in Add brand partners and demand partners, the Marketplace and AdCP listings are proposed with it.
  • With AdCP discovery on, the same listing reaches AI buyer agents too.

Set it up

Octo proposes the listing with these steps already done. You review the result and confirm it.

  1. Choose List in Marketplace on a package under Monetize > Packages. Learn how packages are built in Package Builder.
  2. Set the price, the availability windows, and the brand safety profile buyers must accept. Learn how in Marketplace: list packages and transact with demand partners.
  3. Publish. The listing appears to buyers in Marketplace and, if you enable it, to AI buyer agents over AdCP. Learn how in AdCP: make your inventory discoverable to AI buyer agents.

Change them on the package's listing under Monetize > Packages. Canvas's Packager and Pricer agents also adjust listings within your guardrails.

What it reports

Each listing reports how buyers respond to it:

  • Views: how often buyers viewed the listing.
  • Requests: purchase requests buyers sent for the package.
  • Win rate: the share of requests that become buys.

Revenue from listings that sell appears under Reports > Revenue, by package and partner. Revenue reporting, payouts, and the Creator Wallet explains how it's counted and reconciled.

Build on it

Listings are built and sold in Brand Control Center, so listing a package needs no code. Serve your first ad covers giving purchased ads a place to render: in your feeds, in an IAB ad unit in your app, or on a partner's page.

The listing calls in the Business Account API are proposed, not live. Live API today and the Business Account API roadmap maps what you can call now to what's planned.
