AdCP Discovery and Network Sales Agent

Your packages exposed as AdCP paid_partnership products over MCP and A2A, answered by Genuin's Network Sales Agent for AI buyer agents.

AdCP (Ad Context Protocol) is an open standard, governed by AgenticAdvertising.org, that lets AI buyer agents discover inventory, submit briefs, and execute buys. Genuin's Network Sales Agent answers AdCP calls on behalf of every listed network. It's Octo answering for your network, so your packages are discoverable at the planning stage of agentic campaigns.

This capability arrives as a proposal when your network needs it, filled in from your brand context, and goes live when you confirm it. It's part of Marketplace, and AdCP: make your inventory discoverable to AI buyer agents explains what buyer agents receive and how to test against it.

When to use it

Use it for agentic media buying. Listing on AdCP puts your packages in front of AI buyer agents while they plan a campaign.

  • Retail media networks: AdCP listing is part of what the Retail model switches on, as Choose your network model: Owned, Extended, Commerce, or Retail explains.
  • Demand aggregators: their buyer agents find your packages through AdCP discovery, while their DSP buys programmatic inventory.
  • Packages with outcomes: any listed package with an outcome block can be discoverable.

How it works

  • A buyer agent asks the Network Sales Agent for products. It receives your discoverable packages as paid partnership products.
  • Each product carries an outcome block: projected retail attributed revenue (RAR), attributed commerce forecast, and net margin on ad spend. Agents compare packages on outcomes rather than reach alone, as Outcome Forecast Blocks explains.
  • Each product also carries your brand safety profile.
  • A buy commits through AdCP. Creative formats include a paid partnership video with required disclosure fields.
  • You set the minimum buy and whether buyer agents can negotiate within a price band.
  • After you publish, your catalog syncs to the network catalog within an hour.

Set it up

Octo proposes AdCP discovery with these steps already done. You review the result and confirm it.

  1. List a package in Marketplace with an outcome block. Learn how in Marketplace: list packages and transact with demand partners.
  2. Enable discovery under Monetize > AdCP, then review the product object preview. Learn how in AdCP: make your inventory discoverable to AI buyer agents.
  3. Set which packages are discoverable, the minimum buy, and the negotiation band, then publish.

Change them under Monetize > AdCP. Canvas's Packager and Pricer agents also adjust listings from the AdCP report, as Canvas: run your network with growth and monetization agents explains.

What it reports

Reports > AdCP shows the agentic demand your listings attract. Outcome Forecast Blocks explains how delivery is reconciled against the forecast.

  • Discovery calls: how often buyer agents asked for your products.
  • Briefs: the briefs buyer agents submitted.
  • Buys: the buys agents executed through AdCP.
  • Outcome delivery: what each buy delivered, against its forecast.

Build on it

AdCP discovery runs in Brand Control Center, so exposing your packages needs no code. Serve your first ad covers giving bought ads a place to render: in your feeds, in an IAB ad unit in your app, or on a partner's page.

The AdCP calls in the Business Account API are proposed, not live. Live API today and the Business Account API roadmap maps what you can call now to what's planned.
