Schedule content across multiple communities
Schedule one video to publish across several communities and groups at set times, staggered or all at once, from a single workflow in Brand Control Center.
Scheduled distribution lets one upload reach several communities, each with its own interests, geography, or campaign relevance, without posting it in each one by hand. Genuin publishes the content at the right time, in the right communities, and in the right sequence.
Use it when the same content belongs in several communities, when brand campaigns need coordinated launches, when content has to go out at specific times or dates, or when community feeds need a balanced posting cadence. It also helps merchants and creators who post often, and subscription-based or cross-regional programs. Publishing rules belong to Control; for the whole product, see Control: what it does and where to start.
How scheduled distribution works
- You upload content or select existing content.
- You select the target communities.
- You define the publishing schedule.
- You configure the distribution rules.
- Genuin publishes the content to the selected communities on schedule.
Each community receives the content based on timing, relevance, and campaign plan.
Choose the content
- In Brand Control Center (BCC), go to Curate > Activity.
- To add new content, click + New Post and choose Social Import, Uploads, or Clip it. To distribute content you already have, find it under Awaiting to post.
Content can include creator videos, brand campaign videos, merchant promotional clips, and imported social content. Once it's in BCC, it's available for scheduled distribution across communities. Learn how each source works in Sync videos between social media and Genuin, Upload short videos in bulk and publish them, and Turn long videos into short clips with Clip It.
Select the target communities
- On the import page, under Import in, open Community and select each community the content goes to, or click Select All.
- Open Group and select the groups in those communities.
To let Genuin choose, select Auto-curated Community or Auto-curated Groups. Learn more in Add and curate content in AI-generated communities and groups.
Communities can be organized by topic or interest, geography, product category, campaign participation, or subscriber access level. Pick the ones where the content's topic matches the audience's interests.
| Community type | Example |
|---|---|
| Local Community | "Restaurants Near Me" |
| Product Community | "Healthy Recipes" |
| Campaign Community | "Summer Cooking Challenge" |
| Premium Community | "Creator Club Members" |
Set the publishing schedule
You can publish immediately, at a specific date and time, staggered across communities, or timed to a campaign release. Staggering prevents content saturation and keeps the same post from flooding several feeds at once.
For example, a staggered schedule for one video:
| Community | Publish time |
|---|---|
| Local Restaurant Group | Monday 9:00 AM |
| Food Lovers Community | Tuesday 11:00 AM |
| Recipe Creators Group | Wednesday 2:00 PM |
To schedule posts that are awaiting to post:
- In Curate > Activity, select the posts and click Schedule.
- In Schedule Post(s), choose the date and time the posts go live and the time zone.
- Click Schedule.
BCC confirms with "Post scheduled successfully!" From then on, Genuin publishes the content at the scheduled time, places it in the selected communities, keeps the posting cadence, and puts it in the correct feeds. No more manual posting is needed.
Schedule recurring imports (Optional)
To import new social posts into communities and groups on a recurring schedule, click Schedules on the Social Import page. The Scheduler panel lists each scheduler with its frequency, such as Daily or Weekly, its time, and its communities and groups. Click + Add Scheduler to add one. Learn more in Automate social imports and publishing with Scheduler.
Configure distribution rules
Distribution rules control how content behaves once it's scheduled, so it fits community standards and campaign plans. Rules cover the maximum posts per community per day, community priority order, geographic targeting, and campaign tagging.
| Rule type | Example |
|---|---|
| Frequency limit | Max 2 posts per community per day |
| Geotargeting | Only show to users in selected cities |
| Campaign tag | Add campaign hashtag automatically |
A post's own description, links, and category are on its Post Details page under Posts. Edit the Description to add a campaign hashtag, or click + Add Link to attach a link.
We recommend these practices to keep community feeds healthy:
- Use staggered distribution. Publishing the same content in different communities at different times prevents feed duplication.
- Prioritize relevant communities. Select communities where the content's topic matches audience interests.
- Maintain posting cadence. Don't schedule too many posts in a short window, so feeds stay balanced.
- Align schedules with campaign timing. Coordinate distribution with campaign launches or promotional periods.
Monitor scheduled distribution
After scheduling, track distribution in the content dashboard: upcoming scheduled posts, the communities receiving the content, publication status, and engagement metrics after publishing. In Curate > Activity, Scheduled to post counts the posts waiting to publish.
| Content | Communities | Scheduled date | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Summer Menu Video | 3 communities | May 10 | Scheduled |
| Creator Tutorial | 2 communities | May 11 | Scheduled |
| Restaurant Promotion | 4 communities | May 12 | Scheduled |
For engagement after publishing, see Track and analyze content interactions in reports.
Once published, scheduled content can appear in community feeds, topic discovery modules, campaign placements, mobile app community tabs, and partner network placements.
Examples
| Scenario | Communities | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| A national brand launches a product campaign with one video. | Product category communities, regional communities, and creator challenge groups | Staggered over several days to keep visibility steady |
| Local merchants on a video promotion subscription plan upload promotional clips. | Local "Near Me" groups, restaurant discovery communities, and promotional deal feeds | Scheduled so the clips reach relevant local audiences |
| A creator publishes a tutorial video. | Creator fan communities, topic-based groups, and premium subscriber groups | Rolled out gradually to build engagement over time |
