🎙️ New Episode Alert! 🎙️ This week on the podcast, I’m joined by the incredible Farnoosh Torabi @farnooshtorabi, a Personal Finance Expert and host of the SO MONEY Podcast and we’re tackling a topic that hits home for so many families: navigating financial stress in parenting. This is especially important during this time of the year. Approximately 84% of Americans report experiencing financial stress and although the reasons can vary; financial stress can greatly impact families. Financial stress negatively impacts parents by increasing anxiety and depression, straining relationships, and reducing emotional availability for children. It can create parenting challenges, such as inconsistent discipline and limited engagement in enriching activities, while also affecting physical health through stress-related issues like insomnia or high blood pressure. This stress often permeates the household, influencing children’s emotional well-being and potentially shaping unhealthy attitudes toward money. Seeking support, setting realistic budgets, and fostering constructive family conversations about finances can help mitigate these effects. On the Podcast, we dive into: ➡️ How to manage financial stress without it impacting your kids ➡️ Creative ways to teach financial literacy at any age ➡️ Practical tips to talk about money with honesty and confidence If financial conversations feel overwhelming or you’re looking for actionable ways to teach kids about money, this episode is a must-listen! 🎧 Comment or DM me “PODCAST LINK” to listen to the episode, and let us know in the comments: What’s one financial lesson or mindset you hope to pass on to your kids?
