Network Directory Listing

Your network, groups, brand safety profile, and content policy made visible to other networks and brand partners on Genuin.

The Genuin network directory is where networks and brands look for partners. A listing puts your network in it, so partners see what you publish, what you allow, and which groups they can carry.

This capability arrives as a proposal when your network needs it, filled in from your brand context, and goes live when you confirm it. It's part of Network, and Network distribution explains how a listing leads to your content running in partner placements.

When to use it

Use it on any network that wants inbound partners, distribution, or both. The listing is what partners read before they work with you.

How it works

  • Listing makes your groups, brand safety profile, and content policy visible in the network directory.
  • Your brand safety profile is a GARM-aligned description of your inventory. Partners see it before they accept, as Brand Safety Profile explains.
  • The partner-facing description carries your brand kit and voice, like every partner listing Genuin renders for you.
  • Only groups you mark distributable travel. A distribution partner carries those groups and nothing else.
  • Re-cut permission decides whether partners may re-cut your content to their brand kit through Studio's Adaptation.
  • The directory works in both directions. It helps you identify brands that touch your audience, and it shows your network to them.

Set it up

Octo proposes the listing with these steps already done. You review the result and confirm it.

  1. Choose List network under Network > Distribution, or list at launch. At launch, choosing Approve and launch lists your network for distribution. Learn how in Launch your communities.
  2. Write the partner-facing description. Learn how in Set your brand identity.
  3. Mark which groups are distributable. Learn how in Network distribution.

Settings

SettingWhat it controls
VisibilityWhether other networks and brand partners see your network in the directory
Distributable groupsWhich groups partners can carry in their placements
Re-cut permissionWhether partners may re-cut your content to their brand kit

Change these under Network > Distribution, without code. The listing reads your brand safety profile and content policy from Controls, so there's no second copy to keep in step.

What it reports

The listing reports two counts that show whether partners are finding you.

  • Directory views: how often partners view your listing in the network directory.
  • Partnership requests received: requests from partners who want to work with you. Each one shows the partner, their brand safety profile, the groups they want, and a sample of their content.

Review requests under Network > Requests. Once partners carry your groups, Network Reporting shows views, watch time, and revenue by partner and placement.

Build on it

The listing runs in Brand Control Center and needs no code. The live SDK pages cover the feeds that render your groups.

Embed the Genuin Web SDK on your website covers rendering your brand, community, and group feeds on your own pages. Deliver contextual feeds with page, user, and location context covers passing page context, including the network brand IDs a feed can draw from.

The listing and directory calls in the Business Account API are proposed, not live. Live API today and the Business Account API roadmap maps what you can call now to what's planned.
