Marketplace: what it does and where to start
Marketplace is where packages are listed, discovered by buyers and AI buyer agents, purchased, delivered, and billed. Every listing carries an outcome forecast.
A package bundles what you sell: groups, placements, windows, offsite tags, and audience extension. You attach a forecast of the views, engagement, commerce, and margin it will deliver. Buyers find it in Marketplace, and AI buyer agents find it over AdCP. Request, approval, delivery, invoice, and payout run in BCC for both sides.
You don't build each listing from scratch. Each capability below arrives as a proposal when your network needs it, filled in from your brand context, and goes live when you confirm it. Read Marketplace: list packages and transact with demand partners first for the full model.
Get started
- Choose your monetization agreement. Your agreement decides which capabilities a listing can carry.
- Add brand partners and demand partners. Invite the brands and agencies who will buy from you.
- Build your first package. Assemble inventory and a forecast into one sellable package.
Sell a package
| Capability | What it does | Where it fits |
|---|---|---|
| Package Builder | Assembles groups, placements, windows, tags, and audience extension into one package | Any direct or Marketplace sale |
| Marketplace Listing and Discovery | Lists packages with pricing, availability, and brand safety acceptance built in | Inbound demand without a sales team |
| Outcome Forecast Blocks | Projects views, engagement, commerce, and net margin, then reconciles them at delivery | Every listing, and required for AdCP |
| AdCP Discovery and Network Sales Agent | Exposes packages to AI buyer agents over MCP and A2A, answered by Genuin's sales agent | Agentic media buying |
| Buyer Workflow | Handles request, approval, creative, delivery, invoice, and payout for both sides | Every Marketplace purchase |
What a package can carry
- Capability SKUs: the network capabilities a listing can carry, set by your model and agreement.
- Paid Partner Posts and Paid Partner Takeovers: brand content in your groups, or a placement for a fixed window.
- Audience Extension Tag: one of your segments, reached on exchange inventory.
- Extended O&O Destinations: your brand as a managed destination on partner properties.
Price and forecast
- AdCP: make your inventory discoverable to AI buyer agents: what agents see, and how they buy.
- Attribution: closed-loop commerce and conversion forecasts: the history your forecasts are built on.
- Margin reporting: price packages to net margin on ad spend, not to CPM.
- Floor Pricing and Yield Rules: the floors and bounds your packages respect.
Build it
Marketplace runs in BCC, so selling a package needs no code on your side. Webhooks and events shows how member activity on the placements you sell reaches your own systems today.
The package, listing, and AdCP calls in the Business Account API are proposed, not live. Live API today and the Business Account API roadmap maps what you can call now to what's planned.
