Supervised Intelligence SDK: Supervised Intelligence chat on your pages and in your player
The Supervised Intelligence SDK lets viewers ask Supervised Intelligence about what they're reading or watching: on article, event, and video pages, in Generative Destinations and video posts, and in the Genuin player on your own site or app. It ships with the Genuin player, so there's nothing separate to install. Reading time about 3 minutes.
Where it runs
- Article, event, and video pages, Generative Destinations, and video posts. Supervised Intelligence chat is built in. Generative Destination on a Genuin Domain covers the destinations.
- The Genuin player on your site or app. Supervised Intelligence joins the engagement icons in the player's expanded view, and its panel opens next to the video. The player comes from the Web SDK (see Embed the Genuin Web SDK on your website).
Turn it on in the player
- In Brand Control Center (BCC), open Grow > On Site and choose the placement.
- On the Expand View tab, turn on Intelligence under Show Engagement Icons.
- Under Content Order, choose what follows Supervised Intelligence's answer and in what order.
Your embed code stays the same.
How answers are built
- Each answer leads with Supervised Intelligence's text (Agent Text, always first). Ads, Videos, and Inventory follow in the order you set under Content Order, or not at all.
- Answers stay inside your brand safety profile (see Brand Safety Profile).
- Shopping questions resolve to your catalog, a partner's, or a routed intent, as Resolve explains.
- A viewer's conversation keeps its history for the session.
Your data
The SDK records Supervised Intelligence activity as events: questions sent, answers received, suggested prompts chosen, and video carousels shown. Genuin's engagement data reaches your own stack today through SDK callbacks and scheduled exports to BigQuery, Mixpanel, or Amazon S3; Receive engagement events in your own analytics shows both. Sending your own signals in and defining segments by API are part of the proposed Business Account API below.
How it runs
Support. Help is available 24/7 from Brand Control Center and from every page of these docs. Ask in plain language; when a person is needed, an account manager, developer, or Ops engineer joins the same thread and stays on it until it is resolved. Every Business Account owner has this on every plan (see 24/7 Octo support: how Octo brings in account managers, developers, and Ops).
API & SDK
Access: the calls in the table are the proposed Business Account API (see Business Account API: provisioning, OAuth, and the resource map), authenticated with a key scoped to the account and a role or an OAuth client acting for it; every confirmation in this article becomes a proposal you can approve by API (POST /proposals/{proposalId}:approve). Live today, the server API under /api/thirdparty authenticates with a gn-access-token (see Generate an access token), and Live API today and the Business Account API roadmap maps what is live to what is proposed.
