Relevance is the missing ingredient in most digital inspiration platforms.
Relevance is the missing ingredient in most digital inspiration platforms. Whether it’s Houzz, Home Depot, or Pinterest, you’re often flooded with endless images that have nothing to do with what you actually need. I’ll type in something like “living room with mahogany built-ins” and end up scrolling through thousands of random results, just hoping to find one that fits. Then I hand that image to a contractor and say, “This—do this.” But what if that process was smarter? If an app knew more about the building—its style, market level, or neighborhood—it could curate ideas that actually fit the context. Imagine seeing design inspiration that’s specific to your property type or price point. That kind of contextual personalization would completely change the experience from cluttered browsing to meaningful discovery.
