When I step back and think about AI, I see it in many forms—large language models, stable diffusion, RAG systems, vector databases. It is the most nebulous technology we’ve ever encountered as a society, and we still haven’t caught up to the data loads from just a few years ago. At its core, AI is brilliant at pattern recognition. That means you often end up with two paths: deterministic outcomes where the answer is clear, and non-deterministic outcomes where the situation is wide open and context is everything. The real superpower of AI is in those open-field scenarios, where no precedent exists and the system has to make contextual decisions.
