Community always comes first.

Community always comes first. And yes, it is a chicken-and-egg problem, because you can't have community without content, but you also cannot create meaningful content without the voice of the community. What I have seen is that when you give people the right medium, they will create. They'll write, post, share, and talk. That activity is what fuels connection. Content sparks the conversations, but it is the community that gives it shape and staying power. Build for both, and they reinforce each other.
