Ukraine launched a large drone attack on Moscow on June 18, with one of the drones hitting the city’s oil refinery in the Kapotnya area. A video shared on social media showed an explosion at the refinery, which supplies fuel to the Russian capital. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said air defence systems shot down dozens of drones, but some managed to reach the refinery. Russia’s Defence Ministry said 555 drones were intercepted across the country, including 180 around Moscow.
