This 3D animation demonstrates the ACL patella harvest repair procedure, a common surgical technique used to reconstruct a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) using a graft from the patellar tendon. The video shows the surgeon harvesting a strip of the patellar tendon, along with small portions of bone from the kneecap and tibia, and then grafting it into the knee to replace the damaged ACL. The animation details each step of the surgery, including tunnel drilling, graft placement, and fixation, providing a clear and comprehensive picture of the procedure for both medical professionals and patients.
