Leads for #Bihar results show a reversal from the 2020 mandate. 5 years ago, #RJD was the single largest party with 75 seats, followed closely by #BJP at 74, while #Congress held 19 and #JDU stood at 43. Other parties together accounted for 32 seats. In the 2025 tally, the picture has shifted decisively. BJP has surged to 91 seats and the JDU has climbed to 79, marking one of its strongest showings in recent cycles. RJD has fallen sharply to 28, while Congress is down to 4. Other parties together hold 41 seats this time. As of 3:30 pm, after 7 hours of counting, the NDA is ahead on 208 of the 243 seats. With the tally crossing 200, alliance leaders are calling it a “Maha-good-bandhan” moment.
