Here are three ways to avoid a trip to the operation theater for a corneal transplant: ▶️ Don't Sleep in Contact Lenses! Wearing contact lenses overnight can increase the risk of eye infections, corneal ulcers, and even vision loss. Remove your lenses before bedtime to keep your eyes safe! ▶️ Tap Water is a No-Go! Cleaning your contact lenses with tap water can expose them to bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms that can cause eye infections. Always use contact lens solution to clean and disinfect your lenses! 😆 Gear Up for Safety! Whether you're working with power tools or playing sports, protective eyewear is a must! It can save your eyes from serious injuries, including corneal damage that may require a transplant. By following these simple tips, you can significantly reduce your risk of needing a corneal transplant.
