Delhi Customs officials at Indira Gandhi International Airport have seized over 2.5 kilograms of suspected hydroponic weed concealed inside the false bottom of a passenger’s suitcase. The passenger, who had arrived from Bangkok on Flight No. 6E-1054, was intercepted after crossing the green channel. Upon X-ray screening, customs officers detected suspicious images in the baggage, leading to a detailed examination. Officials recovered ten packets containing a green-coloured substance believed to be hydroponic ganja, with a total gross weight of 2,542 grams including packaging. The seized substance has been detained for chemical testing to confirm its composition. Further investigation is underway under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.
