#BJP is leading in 192 seats— 44 seats past the majority mark — and the #TrinamoolCongress is ahead in 94 as on 2:30 pm. The leads for BJP would, if confirmed as results, be the party’s single biggest Assembly election haul outside of its traditional strongholds in Hindi-speaking India. It is a number that would have seemed extraordinary even a year ago. TMC at 94 is heading for a final tally that is less than half of its 2021 total of 215. AJUP and AISF hold two seats each, CPI(M) one, a combined 7-seat foothold for everyone outside the two main parties. The only subplot left to resolve today is #Bhabanipur, where #MamataBanerjee holds a 15,494-vote lead with 12 rounds still to count, and a handful of knife-edge seats where margins of under 100 votes have been oscillating all morning.
