At least six people are confirmed to have been killed in a fire that broke out in a four-storey building housing both shops and residents near Palam Metro Station in southwest Delhi on Wednesday (March 18) morning. Three of the dead are children, Delhi Fire Services officials said. Several people could still be still trapped in the building, the officials said. Fire crews were working to rescue them, Fire officers said. The Fire Service said it had received a call about the fire at 7 am and immediately dispatched 30 fire tenders to the spot.
