The challenge:
Most platforms want content. But what they really need is curated, relevant content that feels native to the brand, the category, and the moment.
The opportunity:
Genuin helps you bring in diverse video content, from partners, creators, or customers, and place it where it matters most. With curation controls and community tagging, you decide what gets seen, where, and when.
How to onboard content from your brand, creators, partners, and users
Seed With Your Own Content:
- Obtain Video Content Consent (essential)
- Secure content approval from key stakeholder(s) within your organization
- Upload your initial batch of content from your preferred social media channels and your owned sources. Choose from:
- Direct Import (recommended for ongoing sync): upload from Your Computer, Google Drive, Dropbox, or an S3 Bucket, or add an RSS/MRSS, XML, or JSON feed link
- Social Import (recommended for the first time): bring in videos from your brand’s social handles

Brand Partners’ Content:
Content Seeding/Aggregation (Non-monetized) (essential)
- Invite and integrate partner brands directly into Genuin via your Business Account (recommended)
- Each partner brand can connect (login authentication) their verified social accounts (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) to seamlessly bring in content (recommended)
- Each partner brand syncs (scraping from their social handle with low reliability) social handles to fetch videos to relevant communities and groups on your destination. (recommended for the quick start, optional for ongoing usage)
- Direct upload from partner brand content via direct upload in the ecosystem. (recommended but optional if you have social connect from the brands’ handles)
- Within your Business Account, admins can:
- Add brands to your community media network under Manage > Network, with Add Retail Brand, Add Consumer Brand, or Add Media Brand (recommended)
- Manage each brand’s relationship status and content access in Network, from View Details, and set CPM in Monetize > Paid Partnership (recommended). CPM data is applied to RevShare based on the partnership agreement.

How to map and restrict content to be shown to a user per request
- Metadata & taxonomy: Each video is enriched with detailed metadata, including transcripts, tags, visual elements, text, and audio cues. The taxonomy defines attributes such as category, topic, and brand ownership.
- Linkout mapping: Content is bound to call-to-actions (CTAs) resolved by your API (e.g., store_id, menu_item_id).
- Unique video mapping: Each video containing a linkout is mapped to a content mix within the placement feed algorithm. You can configure whether to allow multiple videos per brand or restrict single video per brand by enabling the “Map Unique Linkout Videos Only” feature. This feature ensures that only one video per brand appears in a given placement by identifying and mapping the unique linkout URL associated with that brand’s PDP (Product Detail Page).
