Control: what it does and where to start

Control governs who can do what, what content is allowed, and how inventory is described to buyers. Every product reads its rules from here. The rules and capability levels you set here are what Supervised Intelligence runs on. That's what keeps your brand supervised, not only powered. Supervised Intelligence and every product act inside your rules, so your brand and your audience stay yours instead of being handed over to centralized social and AI apps.

Roles decide who can change what, in Brand Control Center (BCC) and inside each community. Moderation, guidelines, and blocklists decide which content runs. Your brand safety profile describes your inventory to partners and buyers, and informs how they value it. Player and feed settings decide how each placement behaves, without code.

You don't write these rules from scratch. Octo, Genuin's Supervised Intelligence interface in BCC, proposes them with the setup already done. For example, Supervised Intelligence drafts your community guidelines and brand safety profile, ready for you to review. Nothing goes live until you approve them. Read Control: roles, moderation, brand safety, and guidelines first for the full model.

Octo proposes your rules, you approve them, and Supervised Intelligence and every product act inside them.

Get started

  1. Invite your team and assign roles. Give content, revenue, and engineering the access they need and nothing more.
  2. Set moderation and brand safety. Every post passes rules you chose before anyone sees it.
  3. Structure communities and groups for relevance. Groups are the feeds your rules and roles apply to.

Rules that reach other products

Build it

Feed and player settings live in Control. When a page needs something different, developers can override them for that embed with element attributes, which Embed configuration reference lists. Customize the Genuin video player covers sizes, layouts, and the profile menu. To sign members in with your own accounts, set up single sign-on with your identity provider.

The live server API manages community roles from your own systems. You can add moderators to a community and update a group and its members. The role and policy calls in the Business Account API are proposed, not live. Live API today and the Business Account API roadmap maps what you can call now to what's planned.
