How sign-in, contextual feeds, ads, notifications, search, editing, and data destinations work, before you write code.

Get Started

Developer Resources: SDKs, API keys, and integration tools

Everything a developer needs to connect a Business Account on Brand Control Center (BCC) to your own surfaces and systems: the client SDKs that render Genuin in your website and apps, the server API that creates communities, groups, members, and posts from your backend, and the data destinations that send member activity back to your warehouse.

Choose an SDK, the API, or both

Genuin has two kinds of developer tools: client SDKs that run inside your website or app and render Genuin experiences for members, and a server API that changes your Business Account from your backend. Most integrations use both: the SDK for what members see, the API for what your systems do.

Environments, credentials, and test data

Genuin runs two environments with separate data and separate credentials. Build and test against QA, then switch to Production with the Production credentials.

Make your first API request

Five calls take you from credentials to a posted video: get a token, create a community, create a group in it, add a member, and post a video. Run them against QA first (see Environments, credentials, and test data).

Live API today and the Business Account API roadmap

The server endpoints under /api/thirdparty are live in Production and QA today. The Business Account API: provisioning, OAuth, and the resource map is a proposed v1 that extends the same model to every step of Get Started; its endpoint names, scopes, and SDK packages are flagged for engineering confirmation. This page maps one to the other so an integration built today keeps working as the API grows.

Choose how members sign in to the Genuin SDK

Compare Genuin's built-in sign-in, single sign-on through your identity provider, and Auto Login with a token from your backend, and pick the one that fits your app.

How Auto Login works

Learn how the Genuin SDK turns a token from your backend into a signed-in member, from the first request to session refresh.

Set up single sign-on with your identity provider

Let members sign in to your community with the account they already have, by connecting your OAuth 2.0 or OpenID Connect provider in Brand Control Center.
