The knee joint is a vital weight-bearing joint that connects the lower leg-bones, the tibia and fibula, providing stability and support. Within the joint, the lateral and medial meniscus act as shock absorbers, enhancing stability during movement. The medial collateral ligament and lateral collateral ligament prevent excessive side-to-side movement, ensuring joint stability. The anterior cruciate ligament and posterior cruciate ligament prevent forward and backward movement of the tibia, maintaining balance. Cartilage covers the joint surfaces, reducing friction and enabling smooth movement, promoting joint health. The femur, the upper leg-bone, and the patella, known as the kneecap, contribute to overall stability, structure, and function. Together, these components form the intricate anatomy of the knee-joint, supporting our daily activities and allowing us to move with ease. #shorts #3d #animation #knee #tibia #cartilage #femur #ligament
