Skier’s Thumb is a common injury where the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) in the thumb is torn, typically from a fall while holding a ski pole. It accounts for 8-10% of all skiing injuries. Without treatment, it can lead to chronic instability. Surgery is needed for complete tears, with a 90% success rate and recovery in 6-12 weeks. #SkiersThumb #InjuryPrevention #SportsMedicine
