#SCREENBollywood: Vivek Oberoi has reacted to Sonam Wangchuk's ongoing hunger strike, saying he considers himself "an actor, not a politician" and does not closely follow political matters. However, he added that every voice deserves to be heard in a healthy democracy and that expressing opinions is a sign of a functioning democratic society. His remarks come as Wangchuk's indefinite fast entered its 20th day, with several Bollywood personalities, including Imran Khan, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Shabana Azmi, Zeenat Aman and Naseeruddin Shah, extending their support to the education reform activist and urging dialogue over his demands. Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court has directed the Centre to ensure daily monitoring of Wangchuk's health and intervene if necessary, as doctors have warned that his prolonged hunger strike has reached a critical stage. Despite concerns over his health, Wangchuk has said he will continue the protest until there is a meaningful response from the government.
