Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, top staff booked after employee dies by suicide, claims harassment by management The Bengaluru city police recently booked a case against Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal and other staff after a 38-year-old employee allegedly committed suicide, leaving behind a death note where he alleged harrassment by the management. The deceased is identified as K Aravind, a resident of Chikkalasandra in Bengaluru. Aravind allegedly committed suicide on September 28 but the case was registered on October 6. However, it came to light on Monday. Aravind was employed at Ola Electric as a homologation engineer from 2022. The police have named Subrat Kumar Dash, Head, Vehicle Homologations and Regulations, Ola Electric; Bhavish Aggarwal and some others in the FIR under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita’s (BNS) Section 108 (abetment of suicide).
