LoP in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said the treatment of the protesting students was unacceptable, adding that many young people feel they have limited opportunities and are concerned about their future, including issues related to competitive exams and the education system. He also criticised the government over unemployment and inequality, and called for the resignations of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that he was going to meet the students injured during the protest.
