Let YOUR voice be heard! Visit NURSING.com/vote to tell us what would help you balance nursing school and life. Ever feel like everything’s a priority? The ABCDE Prioritization Framework changed that for me! 🙌 It’s similar to the ABCs in nursing—Airway, Breathing, Circulation—so it made sense from day one. Here’s the breakdown: A tasks: Must-do items with serious consequences if skipped. B tasks: Important, but with mild consequences if not done. (Never do Bs before As!) C tasks: Nice-to-have tasks without real consequences. D tasks: Delegate if possible or delay them. E tasks: Eliminate them—they won’t make a difference! In real life, not every class or chore is created equal. MedSurg? Definitely an A. Vacuuming the floor? That’s a C (or maybe even an E). Family time? Always an A, but with further prioritization—playing with the kids is a top A, while laundry can wait. Try this tonight: Write down all your responsibilities and label them A, B, C, D, or E. Each Monday, review and adjust as needed. This framework has been a lifesaver for me in nursing school! 🩺✨ #NursingStudent #PrioritizationFramework #ABCDENursing #NursingTips #NursingSchool #TimeManagement #FutureNurse #NursingLife #NursingSchoolSuccess
