Kerala CM-designate VD Satheesan met senior Congress leader KC Venugopal in Thiruvananthapuram ahead of the formation of the new UDF government in Kerala. Venugopal said there was “nothing unusual” about the meeting and that all Congress leaders were bound by the party leadership’s decision. Venugopal also said Kerala was expecting “good governance” and stressed that the Congress would remain united despite internal differences.
