In June 2021, 46-year-old Aaron James, a high-voltage utility worker, was operating in an elevated bucket near Tulsa, Oklahoma, when he accidentally touched a live wire carrying over 7,000 volts of electricity. Now, the electrical current shot through him, resulting in severe burns and extensive tissue damage to the left side of his body. Doctors were forced to amputate his left arm above the elbow, and despite multiple reconstructive surgeries, James faced significant challenges with eating, drinking, and speaking. In May 2023, he underwent a groundbreaking 21-hour procedure, becoming the recipient of the world’s first combined partial face and eye transplant. #shorts #3danimation #electrical #electric #tragedy
