Hundreds of people gathered at India Gate in New Delhi on Sunday to protest against the city’s worsening air quality, donning masks and holding placards that read “Breathing is killing me” and “Invisible emergency.” The demonstration, which included children and elderly participants, reportedly obstructed traffic on Man Singh Road, prompting police to detain at least 80 protesters.
