GLP-1's have revolutionized healthcare (IMHO!) Here are my tips for success: 1️⃣ every patient starts at the lowest dose 2️⃣ no increasing the dose unless: have been on current dose for four weeks AND have plateaued with weight loss AND are no longer having side effects 3️⃣ make sure the provider is very well versed on these medications and is prescribing appropriately and has continuous follow ups 4️⃣ be focused on eating proteins and staying hydrated as to avoid constipation, hair loss and protein deficiency 5️⃣ just because someone is losing weight doesn't mean they don't have to work out. Maintaining muscle mass is extraordinarily important and lifting weights is key! I love being a part of changing lives! #ozempic #medicine #preventivemedicine #glp1 #mounjaro #semaglutide #tirzepatide
