Former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s vehicle was attacked in Barrackpore while she was on her way to meet a TMC worker in North 24 Parganas. Banerjee alleged that large stones were hurled at her car in front of the police, saying the attack could have caused serious injury or death had the windows been open.
