You can tailor the player controls for each environment, allowing separate customization for the web and mobile applications.

• Log in to the Brand Control Center, go to Settings, and click the Player Controls tab.
• Select the feed environment from the dropdown
  • Option 1: Web
  • Option 2: Mobile App
• Choose the video aspect ratio that will be displayed in the feed.
  • 9:16 display: render in a vertical ratio
  • Adaptive display: dynamically render based on a video file format
• Enable or disable the video autoplay
  • Always: the video automatically plays as soon as it loads.
  • Never: the video will not autoplay and require the user to tap to start playback.
  • Custom: the video autoplays after a specified number of seconds.
  • Choose whether video starts with sound or muted
• Choose the video play in feed
  • Video loop: the video continuously plays and repeats in a loop
  • Repeat video up to a specified number of times
  • Auto swipe: the next video automatically plays according to the autoplay settings and appears in the feed once the current video finishes.
• Enable 2x playback speed: allow users to view the video at 2× playback speed
• Click “Save” to reflect changes across placements

• Choose a linkout display delay
  • Custom: the linkout appears after a specified number of seconds delay
  • Immediately: the linkout appears as soon as the video starts playing
  • Always visible: the linkout displays as soon as the video loads without transition
• Customize linkout button style
  • Choose whether to add arrow icon
  • Customize the corner radius
  • Customize the button color and text color
• Choose in-feed reaction to personalize the user experience

  • Custom: contact Genuin support team to integrate a custom icon to the reaction
• Enable to share video caption: allow users to select and share a phrase from the video transcript.
• Choose a linkout redirection (only applicable for the mobile app setting)
  • In-app browser: linkout opens within the app
  • External browser: linkout opens in the external browser
• Click “Save” to reflect changes across placements
