# Sign up for a business account

This guide walks you through creating a Business Account — from your initial email verification through creating your first brand and completing onboarding.

## **Step 1: Create your account**

- Click **Sign Up**. You'll be redirected to the Business Account sign-up page.
- Enter the **email address** you want to use for your account.
- Create a **password**. Your password must include:
  - At least one special character
  - At least one number
  - At least one capital letter
- You won't be able to continue until your password meets these requirements.
- Complete the CAPTCHA to confirm you're a human user.
- Click **Continue**.

## **Step 2: Verify your email**

1. Check the email address you signed up with for a verification token.
2. Enter the token on the verification page.
3. Complete the CAPTCHA again to confirm your identity.
4. Click **Continue**.

### **If you don't receive a token**

If you don't receive the email within 30 seconds of clicking **Continue**:

1. Wait for the timer to finish. Once it does, a **Resend Code** button appears.
2. Click **Resend Code** to trigger another verification email. A new timer starts.

You can request up to two or three verification emails in a row. If you still don't receive a code after that, you'll need to wait before trying again.

### **Use a different email**

If you entered the wrong email address, click **Try Another Email** to return to the sign-up page and start over with a new address.

## **Step 3: Create your brand**

Once your email is verified, your business account is created and you're prompted to set up your brand:

1. Enter your **brand name**.
2. Enter a **username**.
3. Review the **preferred URL**, which is generated automatically from your brand name. You can edit this if you want a different URL.
4. Optionally, add a **phone number**. This field isn't required — you can continue without it.
5. Click **Continue**.

You'll see a confirmation that your brand was created successfully, then be redirected to your brand's main page.

## **Step 4: Accept terms and complete onboarding**

1. Review the terms and conditions agreement.
2. Enter your **address**.
3. Click **Accept**.

You'll then be directed into the onboarding process, where you can add your brand's assets — either by entering your URL directly or using Octo, Genuin's Supervised Intelligence interface — to complete setup.\
