  - New users receive an **invitation to join**

## **How it works (System behavior)**

- Members are added **at the community level** and can be mapped to groups
- Access is controlled based on:
  - Community type (public, private, subscription-based)
  - User onboarding status
- Once added, members can:
  - View and interact with content
  - Participate in discussions
  - Engage with posts and media

## **Best practices**

- Segment members into relevant **groups** for better personalization
- Use onboarding flows to guide new members
- Combine with **AI-curated content** to improve engagement
- Regularly clean inactive users to maintain community quality

## **Specs & Limitations**

- Member access depends on community configuration (open vs restricted)
- Bulk upload formats and limits may vary by setup
- Invitations may expire based on system settings
- Members do not have moderation or admin privileges
