# Canvas Monetization Fleet

Packager, Pricer, Partner liaison, Yield manager, and Reporter agents that build packages, move floors, prepare briefs, and reconcile revenue.

The Monetization fleet is one of the two agent fleets in Canvas, part of Supervised Intelligence. Its agents build packages from your inventory and audience, set and adjust floors, and prepare Paid Partner Post briefs. They also reconcile revenue and margin.

[Octo](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/octo-operates-your-brand-control-center-octo-proposes-you-approve), Genuin's Supervised Intelligence interface in Brand Control Center (BCC), proposes this capability when it finds a fit on your sites and apps. It completes the steps under Set it up from your brand context. Nothing goes live until you approve it. It's part of [Supervised Intelligence](https://begenuin.com/developers/browse-by-products/supervised-intelligence/supervised-intelligence-what-it-does-and-where-to-start), and [Canvas: run your network with growth and monetization agents](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/canvas-run-your-network-with-growth-and-monetization-agents) explains how both fleets work.

## When to use it

Use it if your network sells packages or runs programmatic demand.

| You run | What the fleet takes on |
| --- | --- |
| Packages | Builds packages and adjusts listings from what buyers do in [AdCP](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/adcp-make-your-inventory-discoverable-to-ai-buyer-agents) |
| Programmatic demand | Moves floors within the bounds you set, as in [Floor Pricing and Yield Rules](https://begenuin.com/developers/browse-by-products/monetize/floor-pricing-and-yield-rules) |
| Paid Partner Posts | Prepares briefs and approves creative within your guardrails |
| A partner network | Promotes partners whose content or spend performs, and narrows those that don't |

## How it works

- You set one Monetization goal and the bounds the fleet works within. Canvas shows you what it did and why.
- The Packager builds [packages](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/packages-sell-outcomes-to-brands-and-demand-partners) and lists them for buyers and over AdCP. Packages with an outcome block rank higher for buyers.
- The Packager and Pricer adjust listings from **Reports** > **AdCP**, which shows discovery calls, briefs, and buys.
- The Pricer moves floors and package prices with margin, fed by your margin report.
- The Partner liaison runs the partner routine from **Reports** > **Network**.
- Every action is logged and reversible.

## Set it up

Octo proposes the Monetization fleet with these steps already done. You review the result and confirm it.

1. Set a Monetization goal under **Canvas** > **Goals**. Learn how in [Canvas: run your network with growth and monetization agents](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/canvas-run-your-network-with-growth-and-monetization-agents).
2. Set bounds for floors and package prices. Learn how floors work in [Floor Pricing and Yield Rules](https://begenuin.com/developers/browse-by-products/monetize/floor-pricing-and-yield-rules).
3. Approve each listing, or let the fleet auto-approve listings.

## Settings

| Setting | What it controls |
| --- | --- |
| Goal | The Monetization target: revenue, eCPM, or margin |
| Bounds | The range the fleet can move floors and package prices within |
| Approval mode | Auto, review, or review only for paid content |

Octo fills these from your brand context, and you change them when you review the proposal. Canvas limits are set by plan, under **Settings** > **Plan**.

## What it reports

- **Journal**: the daily brief of what Canvas did and why, under **Canvas** > **Journal**.
- **Packages listed**: the packages the fleet listed for buyers.
- **Revenue and margin movement**: how revenue and net margin change as floors and packages move.

**Reports** > **Revenue** shows revenue by placement, demand source, partner, and package. [Margin reporting: revenue per impression and net margin on ad spend](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/margin-reporting-revenue-per-impression-and-net-margin-on-ad-spend) explains how margin is counted.

## Connect your systems

Canvas runs in Brand Control Center and needs no code. The live developer pages cover the placements and communities the fleet monetizes.

The Canvas calls in the [Business Account API](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/business-account-api-provisioning-oauth-and-the-resource-map) are proposed, not live. [Live API today and the Business Account API roadmap](https://begenuin.com/developers/developer-resources/guides/live-api-today-and-the-business-account-api-roadmap) maps what you can call now to what's planned.
