# How Genuin Studio works

Genuin Studio is the app brands, creators, and media teams use to record, generate, edit, and publish video into the communities and groups of a social experience.

Genuin Studio is the creation layer of your media network. It handles short-form and long-form video, made by hand or with AI, and publishes it into the communities, groups, and feeds you run, without an external social platform.

Everything made in it follows the brand guidelines, moderation rules, and distribution logic you set in your Business Account. Published videos then flow into moderation, placements, and analytics with no second upload.

## What you can do in Genuin Studio

Genuin Studio brings creation, AI assistance, and publishing into one app. You can create videos by hand or with AI, edit them in a built-in mobile-first editor, and add captions, text, stickers, thumbnails, and metadata.

### Manual video creation

Record or upload a video from your device, then:

- Add captions and descriptions.
- Attach links for commerce or redirection.
- Select the target community and group.
- Publish the video instantly, or submit it for approval.

Manual creation suits quick UGC, product reviews, explainers, and announcements.

Links you attach follow your brand's link rules in your Business Account. **Settings** > **Linkout Controls** sets which domains are suggested when you add a link during post creation. A link blocked under **Manage** > **Links** isn't accessible or visible on the posts where it appears.

### Auto Create

Auto Create uses AI to scale video production without heavy production effort. You select a topic or keyword, choose an avatar or visual style, and Genuin generates the video.

Genuin processes each generated video, and you review it, regenerate it, or publish it.

### Built-in video editor

The editor in the app lets you:

- Trim and combine clips.
- Add text overlays and stickers.
- Adjust timing and layout.
- Preview the video before you publish it.

The editor prepares videos for vertical feeds, discovery sections, and app placements. ### Publishing to communities and groups

You publish videos straight into:

- Communities.
- Topic-based groups.
- Campaign or show-specific sections.

Published videos go straight into your brand's posts, ready for moderation and analytics, with no duplicate uploads and no external tools. **Curate** is for the videos you import through **Social Import**, **Direct Import**, and **Clip It**, so posts from the app don't pass through it.

Who can post in a group depends on its **Who can post in this Group** setting. With **All community members**, every member can post. With **Group Members only**, only group members and community admins can post.

Every post published under your brand is listed under **Manage** > **Posts** in your Business Account. Each post's menu there has **Edit Post**, **Share Post**, **Copy Post ID**, and **Delete Post**.
