# Set up a Brand Feed as an onsite embed

Show one brand's approved videos on a website or app with a Brand Feed embed, set up and styled in your Business Account.

A Brand Feed is a brand-scoped video feed embedded in your website or app. It shows one brand's official videos, campaigns, creator collaborations, and member content in one scrollable experience.

Unlike discovery or contextual feeds, every video in it belongs to the selected brand and follows the governance, moderation, and placement rules set in your Business Account. Genuin updates the feed as new content is approved, so the embed stays current without changes to your page.

Brand Feeds are part of Onsite. For the whole product, see [Onsite: what it does and where to start](https://begenuin.com/developers/browse-by-products/onsite/onsite-what-it-does-and-where-to-start).

## When to use a Brand Feed

Use a Brand Feed when brand identity and consistency matter more than discovery breadth. It gives viewers an always-on view of a brand's content, highlights campaigns, launches, and seasonal stories, and creates a branded destination without sending viewers to external social platforms.

Because the feed lives on your own site or app, you keep the audience relationship, the engagement data, and the monetization opportunities. You also get full control over content, moderation, and placement, and you measure engagement and conversion directly inside your owned properties.

| Feed type | Primary purpose | Scope |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Brand Feed | Showcase a single brand's content | One brand |
| Community Feed | Highlight a themed community | Multiple brands and creators |
| Contextual Feed | Adapt to the viewer and the page | Dynamic |
| Continuity Feed | Keep awareness of the viewer's journey | Dynamic and session-based |

For feeds that adapt to the page or the journey, see [How Contextual Continuity embeds work](https://begenuin.com/developers/browse-by-products/onsite/what-are-contextual-continuity-embeds).

## How a Brand Feed works

A Brand Feed gathers a single brand's videos across communities, groups, and campaigns. Its videos are:

- Approved and moderated through the Curate and Moderate workflows
- Ranked by freshness, engagement, or pinned priority
- Rendered in a vertical, feed-first experience built for web and mobile

You can embed it on brand home pages, campaign landing pages, category or editorial sections, and brand hubs inside apps.

## Create the Brand Feed embed

1. Go to **Grow** > **On Site** > **Embed**.
2. Click **+ New**.

*Step 3: Set Embed Type to Brand Feed to show the brand's own content.*
4. Choose the brand whose content you want to show.

The feed automatically includes the brand's own videos and approved creator or influencer content tied to the brand. It also includes sponsored or campaign videos when they're enabled.

## Set the embed style

1. Enter a **Headline** and **Sub Headline** for the brand message.
2. Choose a **Carousel style**: **Default** or **Focus View**.
3. Choose **Adaptive video display** for a responsive player, or keep a fixed 9:16 ratio.
4. Select **Floating view** to keep the video playing as the viewer scrolls.
5. Turn **Show Header** on to show the top navigation bar, and **Show Side Panel** to show the side menu.
6. Turn **Show Join Community Button** and **Show Community Share Button** on or off.

These settings align the feed with your brand and your page layout.

## Set the feed behavior

1. In **Feed Display Preference**, choose **Default** for the default order or **Pinned Post First** to lead with the pinned post. By default, it's set to Default.
2. Turn autoplay on or off.
3. Turn video looping on or off.
4. Show or hide the creator's username.
5. Show or hide the view count and engagement metrics.

These settings balance storytelling with your performance goals.

**Loop Video** replays the current video until the viewer selects a different one.

## Turn on engagement and navigation (Optional)

1. Under **Enable Engagement Tools**, turn on the tools viewers can use: **Repost**, **Spark**, **Comment**, **Share**, and **Intelligence**.
2. Select **Enable Redirection**, then choose where a tap can lead: **Community**, **Group**, or **User**.
3. Select **Show Links** to display the links added to videos.

Engagement turns the Brand Feed from a passive gallery into an interactive experience. Learn more about [overlay and engagement settings](https://begenuin.com/developers/browse-by-products/onsite/how-can-brands-manage-overlay-components-and-controls-for-embedded-content).

Each engagement tool has its own toggle, so you can offer some tools and hide others.

## Publish the embed

1. Save the embed.
2. Copy the generated embed code or SDK reference.
3. Place it on your website or in your app.
