# Control: what it does and where to start

Control governs who can do what, what content is allowed, and how inventory is described to buyers. Every product reads its rules from here. The rules and capability levels you set here are what Supervised Intelligence runs on. That's what keeps your brand supervised, not only powered. Supervised Intelligence and every product act inside your rules, so your brand and your audience stay yours instead of being handed over to centralized social and AI apps.

Roles decide who can change what, in Brand Control Center (BCC) and inside each community. Moderation, guidelines, and blocklists decide which content runs. Your brand safety profile describes your inventory to partners and buyers, and informs how they value it. Player and feed settings decide how each placement behaves, without code.

## Build it

Feed and player settings live in Control.
