# Canvas Growth Fleet

Trend scout, Producer, Editor, Scheduler, and Community manager agents that keep the library growing and your social experience healthy on your cadence.

The Growth fleet is one of the two agent fleets in Canvas, part of Supervised Intelligence. Its agents watch trends in your topics, brief Studio, and keep the library growing on your cadence. They also run Quests and answer and surface members.

[Octo](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/octo-operates-your-brand-control-center-octo-proposes-you-approve), Genuin's Supervised Intelligence interface in Brand Control Center (BCC), proposes this capability when it finds a fit on your sites and apps. It completes the steps under Set it up from your brand context. Nothing goes live until you approve it. It's part of [Supervised Intelligence](https://begenuin.com/developers/browse-by-products/supervised-intelligence/supervised-intelligence-what-it-does-and-where-to-start), and [Canvas: run your network with growth and monetization agents](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/canvas-run-your-network-with-growth-and-monetization-agents) explains how both fleets work.

## When to use it

Use it if you want your network to grow without daily production work. Set the cadence to match your scale.

| Network | Example cadence |
| --- | --- |
| Creator | Three pieces per week |
| Company | Weekly |
| Publisher | Daily, with Studio production lines per brand |
| Enterprise production line | Roughly 100 pieces per line per day |

## How it works

- You set goals, guardrails, and a cadence. Canvas plans, produces, publishes, and distributes within them, and every action is logged and reversible.
- The fleet briefs Studio, so the library keeps growing without anyone opening the Inbox. With Canvas scheduling, every new episode becomes clips through [Clip Generation from Long-form](https://begenuin.com/developers/browse-by-products/studio/clip-generation-from-long-form).
- The Community builder at the center of Canvas keeps groups healthy: content mix, creator participation, and moderation load.
- The Community builder also reads the Creators report to decide when to run the next Quest, as [Quests and Creator Programs](https://begenuin.com/developers/browse-by-products/studio/quests-and-creator-programs) describes.
- **Reports** > **Network** shows which groups travel best, and Canvas uses it to decide what to produce next.
- With Canvas scheduling, the launch checklist accepts 10 published videos instead of 30.

## Set it up

Octo proposes the Growth fleet with these steps already done. You review the result and confirm it.

1. Set one Growth goal and a cadence under **Canvas** > **Goals**. Learn how in [Canvas: run your network with growth and monetization agents](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/canvas-run-your-network-with-growth-and-monetization-agents).
2. Set guardrails: your brand safety profile, topics to avoid, partner exclusions, and approval mode.
3. Choose **Start**, then read the daily brief Canvas posts under **Canvas** > **Journal**.

## Settings

| Setting | What it controls |
| --- | --- |
| Goal | The Growth target: watch time, members, or reach |
| Cadence | How many pieces per thematic line per day |
| Guardrails | Brand safety profile, topics to avoid, partner exclusions, and approval mode |

Approval mode is auto, review, or review only for paid content. Canvas limits are set by plan, and [Plans explained: Free, Self-serve, and Enterprise](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/plans-explained) shows what each plan includes.

## What it reports

- **Journal**: the daily brief of what Canvas did and why, under **Canvas** > **Journal**.
- **Library growth**: how many pieces join your library over time.
- **Engagement lift**: the difference in engagement between viewers who saw your placements and a matched holdout.

[Measure engagement: watch time, lift, and cohorts](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/measure-engagement-watch-time-lift-and-cohorts) explains how lift is counted.

## Connect your systems

Canvas runs in Brand Control Center and needs no code. The live API covers the communities, groups, and posts the fleet fills.

- [Create a community](https://begenuin.com/developers/developer-resources/api/create-a-community-programmatically-using-community-api) creates a community under your brand, with its type, access settings, and first members.
- [Create a group in a community](https://begenuin.com/developers/developer-resources/api/create-a-group-programmatically-within-community-using-create-group-api) adds a group with its visibility and posting rules.
- [Post a video to a group](https://begenuin.com/developers/developer-resources/api/post-and-share-a-video-within-a-group-using-the-post-video-api) uploads a video and its thumbnail, then posts it to a group with a caption.

The Canvas calls in the [Business Account API](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/business-account-api-provisioning-oauth-and-the-resource-map) are proposed, not live. [Live API today and the Business Account API roadmap](https://begenuin.com/developers/developer-resources/guides/live-api-today-and-the-business-account-api-roadmap) maps what you can call now to what's planned.
