Any placement can allow more than one experience; [Maya](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/supervised-intelligence-what-it-does-and-where-to-start#maya-genuin-s-orchestrator) chooses between the allowed ones per view.

![Diagram: one placement allows more than one experience. On the left, a placement’s allowed experiences: Shorts and Shoppable are switched on; Community and Live & Q&A are off. Both allowed experiences feed into Maya, Genuin’s orchestrator, which chooses per view. On the right, three views of the same placement: view 1 gets Shoppable, view 2 gets Shorts, view 3 gets Shoppable. Community and Live & Q&A never show on this placement because they are not allowed.](https://cdn.sanity.io/images/lnrtvsvr/development/47d4a15ad238c3052f456c4a8f0ebd6a681750f0-720x320.svg)

## What Octo does

![Diagram: who does what, in four steps across two lanes. Octo: 1, assigns a player experience to every placement from its page type and the content it has seen; a placement may allow more than one. 2, renders each placement in your brand kit at its size, on desktop and mobile, so you review pictures, not toggles. You: 3, toggle an experience on or off for any placement, and Octo re-renders. 4, choose Approve experiences; the embed snippet picks them up automatically. Result: each placement has a player experience assigned, and adding one later needs no code change. *Octo assigns and renders an experience for every placement; you toggle what you want and approve.*

1. Octo, Genuin's Supervised Intelligence interface, assigns a player experience to every placement from the page type and the content it has seen: Shorts on content pages, Shoppable where it found a catalog, Community where members post, Live & Q&A for event and talent pages. Any placement may allow more than one; Maya chooses per view.
2. Octo renders each placement in your brand kit at its size, on desktop and mobile, so you review pictures, not toggles.

## What you approve

- The experience per placement. Toggle one on or off; Octo re-renders.
- Choose **Approve experiences**. The embed snippet in [Launch your first community: your owned-and-operated space](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/launch-first-community) reads them automatically, so adding an experience later never needs a code change.

## Make Octo smarter

- Tell Octo your rules of thumb ("no Community on checkout pages"; "Shoppable only above the fold") under Brand → Context; it applies them to every future placement.

**Need help?** Octo is available 24/7 in Brand Control Center (BCC) and on every page of these docs. Ask it in plain language; when the answer needs a person, Octo brings the right account manager, developer, or Ops engineer into the same thread and stays on it until it is solved. Every Business Account owner has this, on every plan (see [24/7 Octo support: how Octo brings in account managers, developers, and Ops](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/24-7-octo-support-how-octo-brings-in-account-managers-developers-and-ops)).

## What you get

- A rendered preview per placement to share with stakeholders.
- Experience settings that the embed snippet in [Launch your first community: your owned-and-operated space](https://begenuin.com/developers/get-started/any-business/launch-first-community) reads automatically, so no code changes when you add an experience later.
